{"id":4401,"date":"2019-01-13T16:50:26","date_gmt":"2019-01-13T16:50:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/formadrain-com.k0bdwxs7-liquidwebsites.com\/?p=4401"},"modified":"2021-10-29T15:47:10","modified_gmt":"2021-10-29T15:47:10","slug":"cipp-industry-poised-to-top-2-5-billion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/formadrain.com\/en\/cipp-industry-poised-to-top-2-5-billion\/","title":{"rendered":"CIPP Industry Poised to Top $2.5 Billion!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4404\" src=\"http:\/\/formadrain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/landing-page-lining-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s just as we thought \u2013 the CIPP market is growing by leaps and bounds with no end in sight.<\/p>\n<p>Stratview Research, and Illinois-based global marketing intelligence firm, has released a report detailing the CIPP market forecast over the next few years (2018 to 2023) that predicts an ever-increasing popularity of CIPP \u201cowing to its numerous benefits over the competing ones\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to the Stratview report, the CIPP market is expected to enjoy growth opportunity to an estimated value of $2.6 billion in 2023, with North America expected to remain the largest segment of the global CIPP market. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The report notes that there is just under a million miles of sewer pipe and a half a million miles of private laterals in the USA alone, and that most of them are more than 60 years old (already 10 years past their average lifetime).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There are a number of factors driving the market growth:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">aging structures<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">increased awareness of the benefits of trenchless techniques<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">increased spending by utilities and municipalities for rehabilitation<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">the high performance of CIPP over other technologies<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While the report notes that vinyl ester and polyester resins are attractive to some due to their lower cost, it does also confirm what we already knew \u2013 that epoxy resins to not have hazardous air pollutants or cause VOCs, making it \u201cone of the eco-friendliest choices for CIPP\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Steam curing is projected to remain the dominant curing method, at least partly because the set-up time and the curing time are lower than hot water curing, and that no \u201clarge-scale water on the job site\u201d is required with steam curing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Fiberglass is, of course, expected to remain the fabric of choice; the report notes that felt, for instance, \u201cgenerates by-products that negatively affect the environment\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The report also mentions the advantages of a liner that does not need refrigeration and that can be delivered to the job site.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Formadrain\u2019s revolutionary Durapox\u00ae<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>resin provides all those advantages and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The full report is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stratviewresearch.com\/287\/Cured-in-Place-Pipe-CIPP-Market.html\"><span class=\"s2\">here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The future looks very bright for Formadrain licensees to take their markets by storm!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s just as we thought \u2013 the CIPP market is growing by leaps and bounds with no end in sight.
