Industrial effluent can be very hard on sewer pipes and on process piping.\u00a0 Industries generate all manner of harsh products including acids, alkaline solutions, solvents, petroleum products, and organic and inorganic compounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some commercial applications are likewise abundant in corrosive sewage.\u00a0 Restaurants routinely discharge grease, food waste, and very hot water into their sewers.\u00a0 Many laundry services discharge high temperature water and harsh detergent and chemicals, as do some car washes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Such industrial and commercial applications call for a liner that will withstand extreme conditions.\u00a0 FORMADRAIN has such a liner.<\/span><\/p>\n

FORMADRAIN\u2019s industrial liners are made with a bi-directional weave fiberglass specifically designed for use with <\/span>Formapox 301<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Formapox 301 is a proprietary epoxy resin specially formulated to withstand the most severe industrial and commercial applications, and at temperatures of up to 250\u00b0<\/span>F\/120\u00b0<\/span>C.\u00a0 It is used for spot repairs and for full-length rehabilitation of pipes ranging in diameter from 2 inches (50 mm) to 48 inches (1200 mm).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Once in place, the liner is steam cured for two hours.\u00a0 Unlike less severe applications where Formapox 101 or Durapox can be used, Formapox 301 requires a longer cure to ensure a chemically and structurally sound repair.\u00a0 Steam curing assures a full cure to maximum hardness, regardless of the ambient temperature.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The completed liner is thin yet extremely strong.\u00a0 Formapox 301 liners are ICC-ES certified (PMG-1203) and they exceed ASTM 1216 flexion and tension standards by five times.\u00a0 A 13,000-hour creep test conducted by CATT determined a 50-year modulus of flexural elasticity of FORMADRAIN liners.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because the liner conforms to the contours of the host pipe, transitions are seamless.\u00a0 Even missing sections of pipe and offsets can be effortlessly handled with FORMADRAIN liners.\u00a0 The liners will easily negotiate Y\u2019s, T\u2019s, and bends of up to 90 degrees. The tapered ends bind to the host pipe to make the liner entirely watertight.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Like all FORMADRAIN resins, Formapox 301 is a <\/span>green product<\/span><\/a> containing zero VOCs.<\/span><\/p>\n
