Municipal

FOR LATERALS, SPOT REPAIRS, AND MANHOLE-TO-MANHOLE LINING, OUR LINERS GET THE JOB DONE.

FORMADRAIN’s proven CIPP systems are excellent choices for municipalities.

Our special steam-curing system means that a new pipe can be cured and ready to use in approximately 45 minutes. Other CIPP systems take hours or days before the curing process is finished, as they are dependent on temperature and surrounding environment. Our steam-cured system also means higher quality control.

Our technology is used in all provinces/states, cities, and municipalities where liners are permitted, including Toronto (approved by the Building Materials Evaluation Commission – BMEC – for the entire province of Ontario), Regina, Montréal, Chicago, Boston and its suburbs, Michigan, and many more.

Styrene-free latent epoxy liners for main lines

FORMADRAIN also offers Durapox 201, the only styrene-free steam-cured lining solution that is compatible with both felt and felt/fiberglass tubes—and perfect for rehabilitating municipal main lines. There is no need for refrigeration or special storage, and it fully complies with ASTM F1216 standards.

How it works

Unlike felt liners, the fiberglass/epoxy composite will make the repair thinner and taper: the liner will not become an obstruction to the flow because the edges are smooth.

Some companies are going to suggest lining the whole pipe without offering the option of a repair inserted at the right place. Some situations will require manhole-to-manhole lining, but a comprehensive understanding of the problem could point to a repair and save thousands of dollars.
